Software for label printing

The aim of legally compliant documentation is to guarantee complete traceability at all stages, from preparation of the medical product to patient use. SegoLabel makes this process easy and the risks associated with labelling by hand are thereby avoided.


Simple automatic identification

Packages containing the sterilised instruments are identified by means of a label after completion of the sterilisation and authorisation process. Labels are printed immediately after completion of the SegoSoft authorisation dialogue, since batch labels can only be printed after the product has been approved for release.


Simplified batch traceability

Effective, secure and always accurate - All important data such as equipment name, serial number, process date, expiry date, batch number and name of authorising person are automatically transferred to the labels and as many as desired can be printed.


Security through unique user management

Effective, time and cost-saving

Sego TTR self-adhesive labels are used. These can be attached to foil packaging as they have a double adhesive layer. When the packaged instrument set is opened, the label is detached from the second adhesive layer by the perforated tab and, for example, attached to the patient’s file or the operation records.

The bar code printed on the label by SegoLabel Software reproduces the batch number. This makes it possible to trace the bar code to the corresponding sterilisation documentation and it can be directly scanned into the digital patient’s file with conventional bar code scanners.

System requirements

The system performance for the Sego®- range should exceed the recommended minimum depending on the number and type of connected devices. This will ensure trouble-free operation.
Sego®is designed to run on standard personal computers. The configurations given here have been tested on a number of different systems.

SEGO®s data security and access management functions may be restricted if used with other operating systems.

  • SVGA graphics system with 1,024 x 768 pixels (21” monitor, HD 1,920 x 1,080 recommended)
  • Hard drive with min. 256 GB free memory (500 GB and above recommended)
  • If no serial interface is available on the PC, it is possible to integrate serial devices via USB interface with SegoSerial Industrial Grade Converter
  • Internet** (Ethernet recommended)
