The SEGO USB solution allows processes to be documented using an USB flash drive. Until now, Miele cleaning and disinfection units for dental practices equipped with a serial interface could only be logged via a printer interface or a PC.
The storage module of the USB solution is simply installed at the serial interface of your unit. It receives the available log data, checks the process parameters and stores the cleaning log on the USB flash drive. A signal is given to indicate that the cleaning and disinfecting process has been run correctly. This control mechanism is necessary to ensure security in the area of instrument processing.

Simple, efficient and secure
With SegoSoft documentation software data stored on the USB flash drive is automatically transferred to the PC of your practice. You approve and release the cleaning logs on your PC, sign them digitally and file them long-term. Longterm filing is naturally in PDF format, to secure the documents against unauthorised changes.
SegoSoft simplifies and speeds up the connection and documentation of sterilizers and units for cleaning, disinfection and sealing. Documentation of unit data and, if required, the release of the charge is fully automatic. During instrument processing, bar code labels with all information relevant for the process can be printed directly. SegoSoft is compatible with standard software packages used in medical practices and dovetails well with your existing hygiene system.

Labels are printed immediately after completion of the SegoSoft authorisation dialogue, since batch labels can only be printed after the product has been approved for release.
All important data such as equipment name, serial number, process date, expiry date, batch number and name of authorising person are automatically transferred to the labels and as many as desired can be printed.
